Cleveland’s need for help in the defensive backfield has been well documented in this space and others. The Browns did sign Christopher Owens and Kevin Barnes in free agency, but they still seem like a sure bet to target a cornerback or safety sometime during the draft’s first two days. Oregon State corner Jordan Poyer could be an option for the Browns with their third round pick, if he doesn’t come off the board during an expected run on defensive backs in round two. (more…)
