With the draft just over two weeks away, it is still almost impossible to predict who the Cleveland Browns will pick, or which way they are leaning.  But this could be a good thing for a number of reasons.  Most importantly, it increases the trade value of the pick…but that’s if they want to trade.  If they stand pat, predicting the Browns pick remains difficult because there is no clear cut consensus number one overall pick.  While most mock drafts have Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel being selected number one overall, it is not a done deal. By now, most of you know NFL Free Agency is set to begin on Tuesday, March 12 at 4:00pm EST.  A new rule passed by NFL owners last year allows for teams and player agents to enter into negotiations prior to this period (March 9-11), but no one can officially be signed until the clock strikes four on the 12th.  With a new regime in place (again), the approach to Free Agency will be another “wait and see” type of process for Browns fans.  (more…)

One of those teams will leave New Orleans with the Lombardi trophy. The other, with a thousand questions. None more prominent and haunting than “Will we ever make it back here?”.
