One week into NFL free agency the Browns have yet to add to their current defensive backfield. Still in need of a running mate to pair with Joe Haden, the team could be targeting Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner with the sixth overall pick. Then again, the rumor mill has linked Cleveland to free agent corner Brent Grimes – who is still recovering from an Achilles injury – so the shopping spree might not be over just yet. Meanwhile, the team brass is still bothered by the fact that they have been left without a second round pick after the previous regime used it to select wide receiver Josh Gordon in last summer’s supplemental draft. Regardless of what happens with Grimes, trading back and somehow recouping that second round selection might be the best outcome of all.
