As the hours tick by, I find myself getting more and more anxious about who the Browns will take with their first round pick on Thursday night.  I can’t remember a year where I felt so mystified about what will happen.  I believe a lot of that has to do with a variety of different factors.  First of all, the talent at the top of this draft, where the Browns are picking (hopefully for the last time in a long while), is murky at best.  There are no clear cut “elite” prospects, depending on who you ask.  Everyone has holes, or at the very least, perceived holes.  Secondly, the Browns have an entirely new front office making the decisions.  There is no track record or precedent here.  Just when I was starting to feel like I had Tom Heckert pegged, he’s out the door.
